Access

The school will be held at the Paul-Langevin CAES vacation center of CNRS, 24 Rue du Coin, 73500 Aussois. The closest train station is Modane, with direct trains from Paris, Lyon, Torino and Milan.

Modane-Aussois

Arrival. Coach transfer to the Aussois Center, leaving Modane station on the 17th at 7:10pm. A cold buffet will be available until late in the evening. 

Departure. Coach transfer to Modane station, leaving the Aussois Center on the 22nd at 3pm. 

Outside of these hours, it is possible to book a taxi from Modane (Aussois is only 8km / 13 minutes away from Modane by car). Advance booking is preferable.  

Trains

Two types of trains arrive to Modane. 

TGV. Booking is mandatory. It seems that many TGVs to Aussois are already fully booked. You may retry later, hoping some already booked passengers will have cancelled their bookings. 

TER. Booking is not mandatory.
